In order to assist veterans and first responders, Virginia lawmakers are suggesting that PTSD<\/a> provisions be expanded. The law, SB 561, recognises PTSD as an occupational illness and seeks to provide workers’ compensation to first responders who suffer from it. It is anticipated that this action will give law enforcement and firemen who endure stressful incidents at work much-needed help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
